What Is The Walleye Fishing like in Rice Lake, Ontario?
I am going up to a resort in mid September & going preferrably walleye fishing.. I’ve got most of my tackle and equipment needed @ Bass Pro and I’m awaiting that day to come.. any answers?

Is It Me, or Is Walleye Fishing Rivaling Bass Fishing as Number One Now?
I’ve noticed walleye fishing has been getting very popular nowadays. Maybe even rivaling bass fishing. Your thoughts?
Not in costs, assortments of lures, etc. I mean the popularity. I’m not saying walleye are better than bass or anything it’s just that walleye fishing is boosting popularity quick. Pick up a fishing magazine. North American Magazine, Field & Stream etc. You’ll find that Walleye is quite popular now.

Need Help and Pointers for WALLEYE fishing?
I’ve never fished for Walleye. I really wouldn’t know what I’m doing. I would highly appreciate any advice on rigs to use and what to look for in a fishing hole. Depths and so forth. Is this even a good time of year to catch them? What would they be biting on now? I live in South Eastern South Dakota. So if anyone is familiar with this area and knows of some good spots that would be great. Any links would be helpful too. Thanks in advance!
