Name the fish that spawns on our beaches (city of LA, CA) AND is endemic?

1. Name the fish that spawns on our beaches (city of LA, CA) AND is endemic.
2. Catalina is the closest island to Los Angeles. Suppose humans create a smaller, but closer island to us. Describe how the island biogeographic model would now apply to species richness.
The spawning fish is a Grunion.
