Good Salmon from Ireland?

Can you fish good salmon in Ireland?

Yes you can :) It’s Big Jack’s fave place to fish for salmon. The best spots are in Co. Mayo. Look up Irish tourist board and fisheries. Possibly called Failte Ireland.

Salmon Fishing on the Moy, Ireland

fishing ghost storiesOkay this is weird! Mysterious baby snail appears in tank???

So I have a 60 gallon tropical community tank. Here’s the story. Hmmm, so I go to feed my fish, and I see this baby snail crawling in the tank. How in the world did it get there? I know what some of you may say: it must of gotten in there when I brought new fish home from the store. But no! I don’t think that can be. For one, when I bring new fish, I never dump the water in the tank, I just use a net to put the fish in after floating the bag for 30 minutes. And besides that, I have never gotten any rocks or anything along with my fish from the store that could of mistakenly been a snail. And secondly, I haven’t gotten new fish for a month. Weird huh! So how can this be? I never had a snail in the tank, only a Plecco and ghost shrimp. I am so confused!
GREAT ANSWER! I FEEL SILLY NOW! LOL. Yes, I have brought a plant a few weeks ago in the tank. I didn’t even consider that. But it makes more sense then immaculate conception! :) :) Thanks gals!!

Do you have any greenery in your tank? If memory serves, snails hatch from eggs, and there must have been an egg stuck to something like greenery. I don’t know what their gestation period is, but there has to be a reasonable explanation.

Perhaps you should direct this question to the local pet store where you got the tank and your fish. They may have a more accurate idea how that came about.

Be prepared though – you may see more before it’s all over with. Where there is one, chances are there are more.

Good luck to you!
